Home of the Scorpions!
Parent Teacher Association
When you have a child in our district, you’re automatically a member of our PTA family! Whether you can volunteer regularly or help out occasionally, we welcome and appreciate your support.
Partnering with Families for Student Success
Our Parent Teacher Association is the heart of our school community! We believe that when families and schools work together, incredible things happen for our students. The partnership between home and school creates the foundation for student success, and our PTA makes this partnership stronger every day.
Making Magic Happen
The West Sedona School PTA is actively involved in supporting student achievement through scholarships, community events, and fundraising efforts that directly benefit our classrooms and students.
Community Events That Bring Us Together
Summer Bash and Activities Fair
Families come together to sign up for summer programs while children enjoy jumpers, face painting, hair spray, and a barbecue.
Wildcat Carnival
Our biggest celebration of the year! With carnival-style games, silent auctions, pumpkin-carving contests, puppies and kittens from the Coconino Humane Association, food stations, haunted classrooms, and so much more!
How Our PTA Makes a Difference
The Wildcat Carnival is the PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year, and the impact is incredible. With the funds raised, the PTA gives each classroom money for supplies, activities, books, or materials the school district is unable to purchase.
Past fundraising efforts have helped us purchase the following for our school:
- Three cold-filtered water bottle filling stations
- An ADA-approved hand-washing station for the cafeteria
- A drinking fountain on the back playground
- Materials for STEM programs
- Support for events like Read Across America Week and Staff
- Appreciation Week
